Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri has said that midfielder,  Miralem Pjanic is one of the players he fields most, shrugging off fake news about a row between them.

On Sunday, La Stampa newspaper reported that the coach and midfielder had a face-off in training, with the situation increasingly tense.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, the Italian tactician described the development as fake news, saying there was never an argument between them.

He also said that the Bosnian is a player he relies on, adding that he has a decisive role in the three-man midfield for him.

With the return of Aaron Ramsey, the midfielder could find himself on the bench that could also have Rodrigo Bentancur in it.

The likes of Sami Khedira, Alex Sandro, Gonzalo Higuain, and Giorgio Chiellini are also absent due to injuries.

Sarri also stated that there wouldn’t be a need to rush Gonzalo Higuain back from injury, but Cristiano Ronaldo won’t be playing false nine again.

He also said he had spoken to Ronaldo before the Milan semi-final and the Napoli Final about his further role on the wings. The Portugues thrives more playing from the flanks where he cuts in. The coach said the Portuguese would do his best work when starting in his preferred role.

Meanwhile, there have been rumours about the future of Pjanic, with the midfielder being linked to Barcelona with Arthur Melo now open to the exchange deal.

According to multiple sources, the deal would have been done weeks ago had Arthur not refused to leave Camp Nou.

After not being guaranteed regular playing time at the Camp Nou, which is evident from the number of minutes he had gotten after the lockdown. It appears after talking to him; the Brazilian is contented playing a peripheral role in the club.

Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio and Spanish newspaper Sport had said that Arthur is beginning to soften his stance on Juventus. According to reports, Juventus is ready to give him a huge salary increase of €5m per year to come to Turin.
