Nairobi City Stars on Saturday bounced back to winning ways beating struggling Ulinzi Stars 2-0 at the ASK Showground in Nakuru.
First-half goals by ex-Gor Mahia and Zoo striker Nicholas Kipkirui and Bolton Omwenga handed City Stars their 10th win of the season.
The win sees City Stars temporarily move fifth in the standings with 36 points, three behind defending champions Gor Mahia in fourth.
City Stars took just six minutes to break the deadlock after Kipkirui slotted home after a defensive blunder.
Four minutes later, Omwenga doubled the scores with a long-range effort from a free-kick.
