Defending champions Gor Mahia have announced parting ways with Portuguese coach “on mutual consent”.
“Coach Manuel Vaz Pinto has parted ways with the club on mutual consent. We appreciate your work and wish you all the best Pinto,” the club said through their official social media platforms.
Pinto led the club to a domestic cup title, won last Sunday and is rumoured to have proposed to leave after getting a lucrative deal with an undisclosed entity.
A source has told Dafa News that one of the former coaches is likely to return to fill the position with Sammy Omollo ascending to take charge on interim basis.
Gor, Kenya’s record time champions, are fourth on the FKF Premier League.
