Lotito ready to make Lazio a top team

President Claudio Lotito has expressed the willingness to make the team better in every aspect.

Lazio is currently second on the Italia Serie A table behind Juventus after 26 round of games, with a point adrift of the defending champions. They Biacocelesti has been enjoying a good season before it was halted by coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking on Lazio Channel, the president said he has been able to make a change in the club’s mentality with the aims to making the Biancocelesti the best in every part of the field.

Lotito is crediting the sports centre of the club for playing a significant role in the rebirth of the club, adding that he usually spend many days until late in the evening to monitor the work going on over there closely.

Speaking further, he said the club aims to regain its pride, and they have been able to do almost that citing a change in the mentality of the players, stating that they now know they are part of one of the big football clubs.

He said the club can now attract big players because of the massive work that has been done and its modern structure.

With the mentality changed, Lotito said that the players have now agreed to represent every Lazio fan with pride. He also said that he had even talked to experts who also said they had seen a radical change in the evaluation of the club.

While stating that he tried doing his best, the president said part of the changes made in the rehabilitation of the sports centre’s wall that gives the fans a sense of belonging and pride. He also revealed that he installed a large illuminated shield with S.S. Lazio S.p.A. Training Centre in front of the wall.

He also said the gate was rehabilitated with two eagle wings well exposed with their beaks facing the centre of the gate.

This he said is part of the way to attract more players, and this will make them know they have joined a great club with traditions, history and identity.
