Turkish football giants Besiktas have confirmed their defender Fabrice N’Sakala is “doing much better” after collapsing during Saturday’s Turkish Super Lig match with Gaziantep. The cause is not yet known.
N’Sakala, 31, fell to the ground with 20 minutes left on the clock and was rushed to hospital but the match went on to end 0 – 0 as Chelsea’s on-loan striker Michy Batshuayi made his Turkish football debut.
“The Congolese international left-back was taken to the hospital immediately,” Besiktas said in a statement.
“The early reports have shown that he is in better condition and doing quite well.
“Besiktas have thanked those football lovers who have shown concern.” PHOTO/COURTESY
