Former Sports Cabinet Secretary Hassan Wario and Stephen Soi, the former National Olympic Committee of Kenya official, have been found guilty of corruption and abuse of office in connection with the Rio 2016 Olympics scandal.
The verdict was delivered on Wednesday by trial magistrate Elizabeth Juma, who acquitted six others, who had been charged alongside Wario and Soi.
Those acquitted are former Principal Secretary Richard Ekai, Haron Komen, Francis Paul and Patrick Kimathi Nkabu.
The eight had been charged over the Sh88 million corruption scandal that rocked team Kenya in Brazil.
Wario and Soi have been remanded pending their sentencing on Thursday.
